Here is the link to the show Law & Disorder if you didn’t get a chance to hear it.

1.Question: I was in a car accident back in 2010 where I ended up with an injured back and a broken nose. I had difficulty breathing ever since but I was told my septum repaired wasn’t medically necessary. The hospital I was taken to after the accident refused to septum my nose for the same reason. Do I have any hope for this case?

Answer: Unfortunately, the statute of limitations seems to have expired. Also, you should see a doctor within 14 days after an accident.

2.Question: I won a judgement in small claims court. Should I use a lawyer or a collection agency to get the money? Next to impossible finding the person responsible.

Answer: Hire a collection company as it might be less costly. They would charge a percentage but if you hire an attorney you would probably have to pay hourly fees.

3.Question: I was struck by lighting in September last year at work. Workers Comp has been good, but should I hire a lawyer, so I am not getting screwed? The company has been good to me, but I have a lot of doctors’ appointments and this is going to last forever.

Answer: It is always good to speak to someone who specializes in that area so they can inform you of what you are looking at.

4.Question: Can these people that are texting and driving and drifting in my lane be gone after attempted homicide and or public endangerment?

Answer: It seems like they could be charged with careless or reckless driving. If a person is texting and hurts somebody, the charge could be vehicular manslaughter. The laws have already been implemented regarding this issue.
